Frequently Asked Questions for the Michigan Cottey Scholarship
The Michigan Cottey College Scholarship was first awarded in 1945. It was in the amount of $300, which was made available by gifts of $5 from each of the sixty Michigan P.E.O chapters. The first scholarship was awarded to Helen Parsons, a P.E.O. daughter from East Lansing. Today, Michigan P.E.O. chapters continue to support worthy students with scholarship awards.
